 SCHOOL UNIFORMS – Please make sure your child is wearing the complete and appropriate school uniform every day. We understand there may be some days when special circumstances may apply, but in general, the use of our school uniform should be habitual. 

UNIFORMES ESCOLARES: Por favor asegúrese de que su hijo(a) use el uniforme escolar completo y apropiado todos los días. Entendemos que puede haber algunos días en los que se apliquen circunstancias especiales, pero en general, el uso de nuestro uniforme escolar debe ser habitual.

PUNCTUALITY – School begins at 8:00 a.m. Teachers are required to be in school at 7:30 a.m. If you bring your child to school before then, there may be no one available to supervise your child. However, children should be in school at least 10 minutes before the start of the day.

When picking up your child, please plan ahead to pick them up at noon, 2:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. on the dot! Our teachers stay later than the time their workday ends to make sure your child is taken care of, so being on time to pick them up is expected and appreciated.

 PUNTUALIDAD: El día escolar comienza a las 8:00 a. m. Se requiere que los maestros estén en la escuela a las 7:30 a.m. Si trae a su hijo(a) a la escuela antes de esa hora, es posible que no haya nadie disponible para supervisarlo (a). Sin embargo, los niños deben estar en la escuela al menos 10 minutos antes de comenzar del día escolar.

Cuando recoja a su hijo(a), planifique con anticipación para recogerlo al mediodía, a las 2:30 p.m. o 3:30 p.m. en el punto. Nuestros maestras se quedan más tarde de la hora en que termina su día de trabajo para asegurarse de que su hijo(a) esté bien atendido(a), por lo que se espera y aprecia llegar a tiempo para recogerlo(a).

WATER BOTTLES – As the weather is beginning to get warm, please make sure your child brings a filled water bottle to school every day. Adding ice to the water bottle when filling it in at home, or freezing the water the night before may be a good option for you.

 BOTES DE AGUA: A medida que el clima comienza a ponerse más caliente, por favor asegúrese de que su hijo(a) traiga a la escuela una botella llena de agua todos los días. Agregar hielo a la botella de agua cuando la llene en casa o congelar el agua la noche anterior puede ser una buena opción.

SUNBLOCK – it is also a good idea to apply sunblock to your child before he/she leaves the house, especially if your child has a delicate skin.

 BLOQUEADOR SOLAR: También es una buena idea aplicar bloqueador solar a su hijo(a) antes de que salga de la casa, especialmente si su hijo(a) tiene una piel delicada.

CHANNELS OF COMMUNICATION – If you have a concern about your child, please contact your child’s teacher first. She has the most hands-on, updated information to offer. If you need further information, please contact Ms. Cristiana and/or Ms. Ileana.

 CANALES DE COMUNICACIÓN: Si tiene alguna inquietud sobre su hijo(a), comuníquese primero con la maestra de su hijo(a). Ella tiene la información más cercana y actualizada para compartir con usted. FEB. 13 - 17, 2023

 Nuestra celebración del día de San Valentín y la celebración de los cumpleañeros de enero y febrero es el próximo martes 14 de febrero. Our Valentine's Day Celebration and January and February Birthday Celebration is next Tuesday, February 14. Este día los niños asisten con ropa de color rojo, blanco y/o rosado. También traen un detallito para compartir con sus compañeritos (lo cual puede ser un dulce con una tarjetita, una galleta, etc.) Favor no incurrir en gastos innecesarios.  Se recomienda calcular entre 15 a 20 recuerditos por grupo. Children come to school with red, white and/or pink clothes. They also bring a small treat to share with their classmates (which can be a sweet with a card, a cookie, etc.). Please do not incur unnecessary expenses. It is recommended to estimate between 15 to 20 treats per group.

Los reportes de medio parcial serán enviados a el viernes 17 de febrero casa por las maestras. Favor estar atentos a esto. Midterm reports will be sent home by the teachers on Friday, February 17. Please be on the lookout.

El lunes 20 de febrero es nuestro Feriado de Invierno. Por favor tomar nota. Monday, February 20 is our Winter Holiday. Please take note.

Los alumnos de los grados Kinder, Primero y Segundo salen a las 12:15 m. miércoles 22 de febrero Este día nuestras maestras tienen un Desarrollo Profesional calendarizado. Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students will be dismissed a from school at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 22. Our teachers have a scheduled Professional Development that day.

Martes 14 de febrero: Celebración de San Valentín y Cumpleañeros de Enero y Febrero

Ø Este día los niños asisten con ropa de color rojo y blanco y traen un detalle para compartir con sus compañeritos (un dulce con una tarjetita, una galleta, un sellito o mini play dough). Recordemos: dulces suaves, recuerditos sencillos o tarjetitas para intercambiar hechas por los niños. Esto es solo un detallito, les solicitamos no incurrir en gastos innecesarios, por favor.

Ø Se recomienda calcular entre 15 a 20 recuerditos por grupo.

Los niños de Nursery2, Nursery 3 y PreKinder no traen su merienda ese día.

Ø Children come to school wearing red and white clothes on this day, and bring something to share with their classmates (this can be a candy with a card, a cookie, a stamp or mini play dough). Please remember: soft sweets, simple treats or trading cards made by children - just a small token to give out. We ask you not to incur unnecessary expenses, please.

Ø We recommend you send between 15 and 20 items per group.

Ø Nursery2, Nursery 3 and Pre-Kinder students do not bring their snack that day.

Friday, February 17: Midterm Progress Reports will be sent home by the teachers. Please be on the lookout for these.

Monday February 20: Winter Holiday. Please take note.

Wednesday, February 22: Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m. Our teachers have a Professional Development scheduled for that afternoon.
