RECORDATORIOS IMPORTANTES:

v  No se olviden enviar el regalo de Santa, el cual su hijo(a) recibirá el día del Show de Navidad. Ese debe ser enviado a la escuela rotulado con el nombre completo y el grado de su hijo(a) a mas tardar el martes 12 de diciembre.

v  Les reiteramos la invitación para participar en la linda actividad de “Christmas in a Shoe Box” para enfatizar los importantes valores de la caridad, la empatía, el amor y la generosidad en esta época navideña. Estas cajas llenas de regalitos que causaran una inmensa alegría a los niños del Crematorio Municipal deben ser enviadas a la escuela el miércoles 13 de diciembre.

v  Les solicitamos enviar la contribución de L.1,000 para los gastos del Show de Navidad esta semana, si aun no lo han hecho.

v  El jueves 14 de diciembre damos por clausurado el segundo parcial, por lo que no habrán clases el viernes 15 de diciembre.

v  Aun tenemos cupos disponibles para nuestro fabuloso Campamento de Navidad el cual se llevará a cabo del lunes 18 de diciembre al viernes 22 de diciembre de 8:30 a 11:30 a.m. ¡La pasaremos lindo!

v  Vacaciones de Navidad: del viernes 15 de diciembre al lunes 8 de enero. Las clases se reanudan el martes 9 de enero.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

v  Don't forget to send Santa's gift, which your child will receive on the day of the Christmas Show. This must be sent to the school labeled with your child's full name and grade no later than Tuesday, December 12.

v  We reiterate the invitation to participate in the beautiful “Christmas in a Shoe Box” activity to emphasize the important values of charity, empathy, love and generosity during this Christmas season. These boxes full of gifts that will cause immense joy to the children of the Crematorio Municipal must be sent to school on Wednesday, December 13.

v  If you have not done so, please send the L.1,000 fee to cover the expenses of the Christmas Show this week.

v  On Thursday, December 14, we close the second term, so there will be no school on Friday, December 15.

v  We still have a few spots available for our fabulous Christmas Camp which will take place from Monday, December 18 to Friday, December 22 (from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.) We'll have a great time!

v  Christmas holidays: from Friday, December 15 to Monday, January 8. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 9.

“CHRISTMAS IN A SHOE BOX”

Dia de entrega: miércoles 13 de diciembre.

Con la intención de fortalecer nuestro programa de valores, los invitamos a participar en esta actividad de carácter voluntario que promueve la empatía, el amor, la caridad y generosidad.

Cada familia envolverá en papel navideño una caja de zapatos vacía. 

Durante un mes, estarán metiendo dentro de la caja regalitos útiles para un niño o niña de la misma edad de su hijo(a).

Irán llenando la caja de sorpresas, explicándole siempre a su pequeño lo feliz que se sentirá el niño que recibirá este hermoso regalo, haciendo énfasis en los valores que se están desarrollando (anteriormente mencionados). 

Le recomendamos algunas ideas para poner dentro de la caja: 

Un peine

Un jabón para baño

Cepillo de dientes

Pasta dental

Colitas o artículos para pelo

Una gorra para niño (a)

Una camiseta

Calcetines 

Una pijama

Unas chancletitas

Unos lápices para colorear

Unos marcadores para colorear

Una caja de crayones

Una libreta o librito para colorear.

Confites empacados

Mini-juguete 

Peluchito.

¡Lo que su niño (a) junto a su familia decida ir colocando en esta “Christmas in a Shoe Box” estará muy bien! Lo más importante es el cariño, el interés puesto y la práctica de valores tan importantes para la convivencia humana. 

Los niños traerán su “Christmas in a Shoe Box” totalmente cerrada y sellada con una dedicatoria para el niño o niña. Es importante que la rotule:

Así podremos clasificarlas y entregarlas de acuerdo con la edad y género. 

Estas cajitas de amor serán entregadas a los niños del Crematorio Municipal y sus alrededores. Estaremos compartiendo con ustedes en enero las reacciones de los niños al recibir estas sorpresas. ¡De antemano, muchas gracias por su generosidad! 

“CHRISTMAS IN A SHOE BOX”

In keeping with strengthening our values program, we invite you to participate in this voluntary activity that promotes empathy, love, charity and generosity.

Each family will wrap an empty shoe box in Christmas paper.

For a month, you and your child will be putting useful gifts inside the box (for a boy or girl the same age as your child).

You will fill the box with surprises, always explaining to your little one how happy the child who will receive this beautiful gift will feel, emphasizing the values that are being developed (mentioned above).

Suggestions of things to include in the box are:

A comb

A bath soap

Toothbrush

Toothpaste

Pigtails or hair items

A cap for a child

A T-shirt

Socks

Pajamas

Flip flops

Coloring pencils

Markers to color with

A box of crayons

A notebook or coloring book

Packaged candy

Mini-toy

Stuffed animal

 

Whatever your child and your family decide to put in this “Christmas in a Shoe Box” will be great! The most important thing is the care and the practice of values which are so important for human coexistence.

Children will bring their “Christmas in a Shoe Box” completely closed and sealed with a dedication to the boy or girl. It is important that you label it:

That way we can classify and deliver them according to age and gender.

These love boxes will be delivered to the children of the Municipal Crematorium and its surroundings. We will be sharing with you the children's reactions upon receiving these surprises when we return in January. Thank you very much in advance for your generosity!

THEME OF THE MONTH: Thanksgiving

 November is full of beautiful activities for our students. It is the month in which, because of the Thanksgiving celebration, we emphasize the value of GRATITUDE, and, because of its proximity to Christmas, the value of GENEROSITY. 

Dates to Remember:

• ·       Friday, November 3:Costume Carnival. 
• ·       Friday, November 17: Midterm Progress Reports for the second quarter go home. 
• ·       Wednesday, November 22: Thanksgiving Celebration, along with the celebration of birthdays for November and December. Students come dressed in autumn-colored clothes.
• ·       THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY: Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24.
• ·       Wednesday, November 29: Professional Development afternoon for teacher. Early dismissal (12:15 p.m.) for students in grades K-3. 

Important Information: CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AND CONTRIBUTION (FEE): On the eve of this very special time of the year, which is filled with excitement and magic for our children, we have begun preparing for our Christmas Event, during which our students will present their singing and dancing show along with a beautiful exhibition of arts, crafts and /or Christmas gifts made by them. This event will take place in the evenings of Thursday, December 14 and Friday, December 15. Please mark your calendars and save this time to come and enjoy with your child.

For this celebration we are asking for a contribution of Lps1,000 per student, which must be paid during the month of November. With this contribution we will be covering the expenses for this fabulous event.

We will be sharing more information later on regarding the schedules for the presentations, as well as details of the costume your child will wear the evening they are scheduled to come to school. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and attention to this matter.

¡Noviembre está revestido con actividades muy bonitas para los niños. Es el mes en el cual, por la celebración de “Thanksgiving” (Acción de Gracias), hacemos énfasis en el valor de la GRATITUD y, por la proximidad con la Navidad, el valor de la GENEROSIDAD.

• ·       Miércoles 22: Fiesta de Acción de Gracias y Cumpleañeros del Mes de noviembre y diciembre. Este día los niños asisten con ropa de colores de otoño.
• ·       FERIADO DE THANKSGIVING: jueves 23 y viernes 24
• ·       Miércoles 29: Tarde de Desarrollo Profesional para Maestros - los alumnos de Kínde, Primer, Segundo y Tercer grado salen a las 12:15 m.

Informacion importante: CELEBRACION Y CONTRIBUCION PARA EL SHOW DE NAVIDAD:  A la víspera de esta temporada tan llena de ilusión y magia para los niños, ya hemos comenzado con nuestros preparativos para el "Convivio Navideño", en donde ellos, presentarán su show con cantos y bailes, así como, la linda exposición de trabajos y/o regalos navideños hechos por los pequeños. Este evento se llevará a cabo en la tarde-noche de los días jueves 14 y Viernes 15 de diciembre. Reserve por favor desde ya este espacio de tiempo para disfrutar junto a tu hijo(a).
